Feeling of Deprivation

The feeling of deprivation can often lead to procrastination. We may feel deprived of our personal life because of our work. Thinking that we can no longer spend time with our family or not having to spend time for leisure activities anymore will most likely cause us to procrastinate. Deprivation can lead not only to procrastination but rebellion and resentment as well. When you feel that you have been working all the time, you'll come to this feeling that you have done enough and will no longer work hard for a while.

If this is the case, what you must do is to manage your time -- wisely. Having time for one's self is also very important for a person to be well motivated and feel balanced with his work. In managing your schedule, always make sure to include a day's treat for yourself. Even just once a week, have time to relax and do things which are not related to your work. Once you have established this schedule, you will have the motivation factor to do your work efficiently knowing that you'll have the chance to have a break.

Just remember that you must balance your time and have self-discipline in order to follow your schedule.
