Are You A Procrastinator?

You've made a time schedule for each day's activities. You've put there that you have to wake up so early in the morning to jog. Now, the alarm clock woke you up. But you don't feel like rising yet. Maybe a few more minutes won't hurt. Five minutes passed, and yet maybe a few more would do. The sun has risen up and you're still in bed. Checking on your daily schedule, you should have taken a bath already after jogging. So you missed your first activity and was delayed to the second one. This, folks, is a clear way of procrastinating.

This is often caused by self-deception, disorganization, lack of motivation and self discipline. With procrastination, no amount of organization, motivation, or prodding from loved ones can help you get away from it unless you understand what procrastination is.

So how can we get off with it? First, you need to decide that you are serious to get rid of procrastination. Then, you need to learn exactly what procrastination really is. By doing so and being able to understand it, you begin to recognize it each time you exhibit it. Upon recognition, dismiss it. Then put in mind that winning this battle will make you stronger and well-motivated.
